American Host Families Showing Real Love for International Visitors
This Sunday was a real fun-day, too! It was our last weekend in Pullman, WA, when we got the chance to spend quality time with American families, feel the real spirit and gather together with them for doing what they usually do during the last day of the week.
Meeting my new host mother and host father gave me a feeling that I can barely put into words. The day has started with a visit of a church and after that we had some mouthwatering donuts for breakfast. The time for hiking has come! The two dogs (terriers) were waiting for us and we hit Steptoe Butte and enjoyed the view that left us speechless while picnicking there.
It all ended up with a farewell dinner with few more people joining us, giving and receiving gifts and showing to the world, one more time, how important is to have our homes and minds open!
