Bay-watching at Nantasket
After a productive week, on Saturday emphasis was put on fun and relaxation. Since there was a heatwave, we decided to spend the first part of the day on the beach. We went to the Nantasket Beach (only 45 minutes away from Boston), where we had a lot of fun – swimming and playing a ballgame in the Atlantic Ocean and lying in the sun. We also had a competition: which of the two teams could build the highest sandcastle in 15 minutes. Although the castle of my team was far from being aesthetic or stable, we built the tallest one 😊.
We all know that safety comes first so we took on the challenge and “became lifeguards” like David Hasselhoff in Baywatch. Fortunately, our assistance was not needed, but we had some good moments and recreated in infamous slo-mo running scene.
In the afternoon we came back to Boston and everyone had free time.
