Friday Adventures
Our day started at 8:30 A.M in Fletcher 200 where was our quick briefing with Takeo. After, we met other international students from China. These students are also going with us on Saturday to Atlanta. Today‘s lecture was with our new teacher, Dr. Karl. The lecture was mainly focused on management and diversity.
At the lunch at Crossroads we were separated to groups by our mentors. My mentor is Lucas, a marketing and creative writing student at UTC. At 1 P.M there was an entrepreneurial visit at Japanese company, Komatsu. It is one of the biggest producers of industrial equipment. It has manufacturing operations in Japan, Asia, the Americas and Europe.
Have you ever heard about Signal Point National Park? That is a popular hiking destination where we were heading to. The signal point reservation is located on Signal Mountain, Tennessee. Weather conditions, especially high humidity required a lot of effort to get on top but we made it.
Our plan for Friday night was Nightfall Festival full of live music where usually gather all people from the city.
