Entrepreneurship, Diversity, and Stereotypes
Today we had a really great day and everything started with presentation about entrepreneurship from our fellow SUSI participant, Matas Zykus, where he talked about one of the most known entrepreneurs in his country, Lithuania!
We continued with our first lecture with Dr. Dawson, an amazing professor, where we talked about diversity, stereotypes and how they influence our lives. We played a game and tried to show how important is to break stereotypes in order to see each other!
Afternoon, we have visited Co Lab, an accelerator that supports entrepreneurial growth, and talk about how startups can become big companies and influence economic development.
We also had a leadership session with Ken Hays, the CEO of Enterprise Center, and his wife, where we talked about fast internet and why is so important to have access to it.
In the evening we ended with beautiful Chattanooga rent bike, and went all across the city to discover it.
