Second Day in New Orleans!
Today, in the morning, with the help of Marie Gould we took a streetcar to go to the Milton Latter Library in New Orleans. There the environmental journalist Bob Marshall shared his knowledge about the environmental history of coastal Louisiana with us. Later we took another streetcar to go to the Live Oak Café where we ate lunch. Two jazz musicians were singing and playing guitar and violin.
In the afternoon the geographer Richard Campanella took us on a bus tour to visit the city and learn more about the environmental issues New Orleans has to face.
In the evening some of us went in the French Quarter, the oldest section of the city, to have dinner and listen to a famous Jazz Concert.
