New People. New Places. New Experiences.
Today, was our last day in Eugene, Oregon. Four amazing weeks that are now over. We made new friends, but it's time to move again. We start our study trip in Portland.
We packed everything in the bus and started the way to Portland, where we took part in a speech about Climate Action Plans in this city, as well as sharing our knowledge about our cities and countries policies about climate. After that, we went to a big beautiful garden area full of different kinds of flowers and some trees, a very relaxing moment before truly entering the city environment.
Something very interesting about this day has been knowing about our new roommates for the hotel --starting to living with another person, starting to feel confident with someone else. Make new friends.
To finish the day, we went to Portland's Downtown and we spent all the afternoon and part of the evening exploring this amazing quarter of the city: buying books, eating different kinds of food, hanging out and interacting with Portland's residents.
We will continue our travel week tomorrow with the departure to New Orleans. New people, new places and new experiences, that's what this program is about!
