Cherishing Our Final Moments in Chattanooga
There’s no such thing as a boring day in the lovely city of Chattanooga! Our last Monday here started with a morning briefing and with an amazing southern breakfast! Everyone is starting to feel bittersweet as we realize that our journey at UTC is coming to an end, but excited about the amazing adventures that come next (New York City and Washington, D.C.).
Our morning was full of hard work while finishing our capstone projects to present in D.C. The atmosphere was filled with entrepreneurship and we are all putting a lot of effort into these projects!
After lunch, the social part took over at the Salvation Army where the SUSI students and mentors prepared all the arrangements for the dinner with the veterans. With songs from all over the world playing in the background, we all set everything ready, from the tables to the name tags and thank you notes.
The dinner was an incredible opportunity to exchange points of view and to get to know the veterans and their paths. All the students were wearing chef jackets and in the end everyone signed each other's jackets: an unforgettable souvenir full of memories to bring back home!
