Birthdays, Bagels, and Brainstorming

Morning gathering starts with a Happy Birthday song for one of our colleagues Ellen from Iceland!

Later the room was filled with chats about weekend stays with American families and also how fast the time is passing by here in Chattanooga. Someone pointed out that time flies so quickly when you are having fun, and everyone around agreed. The past weeks have been filled with amazing experiences which does not let us get bored.

After bagels and coffee for breakfast we move to our seats and greet our Management professor for the day, Dr. Karl. The lecture was filled with a bunch of examples, hands-on exercises, and without a doubt, plenty of decision-making tools that will be surely helpful in the future.

Later on during the day we were scheduled to have Entrepreneurial Engagement panel discussion with JumpFund but we did not really know what to expect. After entering the auditorium we see this vibrant smiling woman and the excitement kicks in. Hours spent with Dr. Shelley Prevost learning about her personal business experience and startup funding opportunities turns out to be one more fun and educational afternoon.

The afternoon continued with us setting up camp in the library to continue working on our capstone projects, but it was not over there. After a few hours of hard work in the social issues teams, we took a break and went for the dinner. Later, the teams gathered again to further discuss the projects. Tomorrow will be an interesting day.

Life is good here in Chattanooga!
