Meeting Senator Manning & SeQuential Biofuel's Ian Hill
Over the past few weeks, we have gained an overall knowledge of what the organizations, volunteers, and citizens of Oregon have done and continue to do for the environment. Today we have gotten a small insight to what the state of Oregon wants for the future regarding the environment.
We had a meeting with Senator Manning at the Capital Building in Salem, where we introduced ourselves and asked him some questions about his life, work, plans, and views regarding the environmental changes.
After the meeting we had our lunch in the city of Salem, and we moved on to our next meeting with Ian Hill, the Co-founder of SeQuential Biofuel. Mr. Hill told us about how he started the project and his visions for the future.
The day was finally over. We had a lot of time on the road so we were quite tired when we came back to the Collegian. But overall it was a great day, with lots of excitement and new knowledge –like all the other days! Looking forward to our camping trip tomorrow.
