Happy 4th of July!

Today, we got the amazing opportunity to celebrate the 4th of July in the U.S. which is a first for all of us!

But first, we went on a city tour organized by Mrs. Stephanie Hays so as to know more about our beautiful city of Chattanooga. We learned about its profound and meaningful historical background (e.g. its correlation with the Trail of Tears).

Then, we all had a great time at the Tennessee Aquarium! It really felt like being in an ocean! We had the opportunity not only to see all kind of turtles, penguins, and fishes, but also snakes, lemurs and butterflies!

Then, we headed towards the stadium to watch an authentic American baseball game: Chattanooga Lookouts vs. Birmingham Barons! Thanks to the coordinators, we got to stay in an area with refreshments, food and a BBQ dinner. We had such an amazing time together, despite the rain that eventually poured, and four of us even caught baseball balls!

Last but not least, we got to experience something that should be on everyone's bucket list: celebrating 4th of July in the U.S.! At 9:30pm exactly, the lights were switched off, the music turned down, and mind-blowing fireworks exploded in the night sky. Then, we all wished one another: Happy 4th of July!
