Another Perfect Day in South Carolina!

First stop: Soda City Market

What a great way to start our first Saturday in Columbia, South Carolina! We had the opportunity to visit the lovely Soda City Market where we bought some fresh fruits and vegetables from local farmers and tried some delicious cuisine. We also got amazing souvenirs for our friends, family (and pets!) back home, and we had interesting conversations with the friendly local people.

Second stop: Riverbanks Zoo

Despite the hot weather, we also had a great time in the Riverbanks Zoo. We got to know each other better while meeting the different species, visiting the botanical garden, cooling down (thanks to the fountains and the ice cream) and singing in the van.

Third stop: #KeepFamiliesTogether March

Two words: Civic Engagement! That is what we are all here for. We got goosebumps from the passionate and inspirational speeches that were given at the rally and from seeing all the people who were there for such an important cause!
