Last Day in NOLA

Every day of this program is full of activities and impressions. Our last day in New Orleans was no exception. In the morning, we took ranger guided walk on Jean Lafitte National Park trail. We have found it interesting and informative as we could know more and see diversity of wildlife species and nature, untouched by humans. In fact, we were lucky to see two alligators there!

Later in the day we had a delicious lunch at Restaurant De Familles where we tasted local food. In the afternoon, we have enjoyed a customized field trip on the cultural geography of New Orleans by professor Richard Campenella. The bus tour included narration and multiple disembarkations, with an emphasis on infrastructure, resiliency, water, sustainability and social issues.
