Start Exploring

The best way to understand our world is to start exploring it. This day was full of new discoveries and knowledge for participants on SUSI on Environmental Issues. The first point of our trip was Leaburg Dam, where we found out how hydroelectric power stations work and what the situation with the provision of electricity and renewable energy is in Oregon.

The next was HJ Andrews Experimental Forest. Thanks our guide, we started to understand better how system of forest management works here in the U.S. A nice surprise at the end of the day was a visit to two beautiful waterfall Koosah and Sahalle.
