The Road to Our Capstone Projects

Today we made our first steps on the road to our Capstone Projects. Since early morning, we had an intensive workshop with Kaimana Chee on action-planning. We began with a game “I’ve never…” and learned a bit more about our unique sides.

After that we had a time to show our creativity and make some figures from playdough. All the works were great and we very happy and inspired while making them.

Later we began the discussion about our passions and needs of the communities where we live and the ways how we can connect them.

We took a quick break to celebrate the birthdays of Alisha Biler and Anna Victoria Hamer, two of the people who make our stay at USC unforgettable. That was a real surprise for them. It's so cute that just after 10 days, we’ve already become one big family.

After that we continued our work on action planning and checked our theoretical knowledge on practice. And I am sure that this has given us the better understanding of the goals and risks of our projects. Thanks to Kaimana for this! We are really inspired for the coming work!

That was a new day and now we are a bit closer to our conference in Washington D.C.
