The Value of Happiness

"The greatest happiness in the world is to make others happy." Today we got to experience just that, volunteering for Habitat for Humanity here in Chattanooga. It was a valuable experience.

Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization with a vision to create a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Today's main goal was to help paint Ms. Sandra's house. Off we went, students and mentors with help from 2 staff members from the organization, to paint and tidy up around Ms. Sandra's house. Despite it being ridiculously hot outside, all students and staff were eager to help. The day ended with a great water battle to cool down some sweaty and hot bodies. Staff, students, mentors, and not least, Ms. Sandra really enjoyed that.
